I help individuals suffering from depression and/or anxiety find a way to put their burdens down. To take off the heavy backpack of perfectionism, expectations, guilt, trauma, and pain. Together we will seek to understand your individual experience in-depth, examine how you have already tried to address your concerns, and find methods of coping that are specific to you.

That is why therapy is so important. You’ve likely tried to read some books, listen to podcasts, and perhaps you’ve even meditated a time or two. But in therapy, I make sure our approach is centered around your personality, temperament, and needs.

My name is Rachel, and as your therapist, I believe it is less important that I have all the right answers, and more important that I ask you the right questions. I know healing journeys are as unique as fingerprints, and it is my goal to act as a gentle guide in your therapeutic experience.

I utilize narrative therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), EMDR for trauma, and emotionally focused therapy (EFT) in my treatment. But the most important thing for you to know is that when we work together, I am on your team. I will be by your side through the heavy defeats, and I will be a cheerleader through your upcoming successes.
